Lovely Limericks!
Most times when we think of limericks, we think of the the short and sweet poems with the universal tune. In this session, we read a few examples of limericks including the classic “There Was an Old Man With a Beard” by Edward Lear. In another example of a limerick We clapped out the rhythm of the poem and analyzed its rhyme scheme. Then, students created their own original limericks!
