One Small Thing

In week nine, we read the poem “One Vote” by Aimee Nezhukumatathil and talked about how one small decision can make a big difference over time, adding up into the people we become.

Food Choice

Today I had to choose ice
cream or pizza. I was thinking about
the ice cream, how good it will taste
and look. The sprinkles on top, and the
sparkles. The pizza, now I’m thinking
how good it will look. So good, especially
the pepperoni pizza. How good it will
taste. My mouth is watery. I imagine
how good it will taste.

are difficult. But it makes you
happy when you answer hard questions.

but when I play too much I feel
