Body Stanzas

This week we celebrated our amazing bodies! We started by asking what students thought the most powerful part of their body was. From feet, to brains, to our hearts, they did such a great job of letting their imaginations run wild and explaining why our bodies are so awesome. Enjoy this week’s poems!

My Heart Bennet

My heart that is as loud
as a lion and lions are pretty
loud. My heart is as squishy as my brain.
If my heart was alive it would have muscles.
The weights are one millions pounds
Every day he does one million pushups
He also does one million sit-ups a day.

My Heart Peyton Rose G.

My heart is a best friend
that beats
it’s as loud as a drum
it helps me stay alive
your heart makes you happy by
giving you love, it loves you.
Your heart gives you oxygen
my heart loves Valentine’s Day
your heart is strong, it can beat and it can give you love.
Your heart loves you and itself very much
Your heart gives you love everyday.
My heart is talented at giving love
to the whole city.

My Eyes Marley

My eyes are beautiful diamonds
My heart is strong
My face is beautiful
My legs are smooth and quick
My heart beats like a drum
I love my lips
and they are beautiful
I am strong
I love my whole body
I am beautiful.
