I Will Never Forget That Dragon: Dream Poems @ Moos

This week the second graders wrote their dreams, some as lists of dreams and wishes, others a narrative in a poem of one, especially fabulous dream they love to remember. You’ll see both forms below:

Dragons
Amaris D.

I once dreamed that I was in
a forest and saw a pony I
hopped on and it flew up
I saw something back and
pink I went down and there
were ten DRAGONS I tamed
one and I flew up and
made a home for her and
then I woke up I
will never forget
that dragon

I Dreamed
Yuritza C.

I dreamed I was stuck in a board game
I dreamt of the lorena
I dreamed I had hopkins
I dreamed it was Christmas everyday
I dreamed my house was upside-down
I dreamed I’m very fast
I dreamed I was a fish
I dreamed I was scary
I dreamed I was magical
I dreamed I saw Santa
I dreamed I was rich
I dreamed my dog could talk bla bla bla

The Crazy Dream Every
David R.

I dream that there was
a castle and there were
goblins and a dragon
on the roof and with it
lava in front of
the castle and a
mummy but the mummy
is the king, as the King
he makes the rules he
can break the rules

Aramis

Last night I had a dream
that I was in my bed I felt
like I was falling I looked
under my bed and…
I WAS IN SPACE!
Soon I lost my bed and soon
I hit a mountain! My dad was
superman! He said “get up,
Aramis!” I got up and I said
“I’m okay!” I said he flew
me to school… It was
POKEMON SCHOOL!
