Wonderful Wishes of Darwin Elementary

This week the 2nd grade students at Darwin Elementary wrote poems about their wishes–both wishes that could come true, and those that just fun to fantasize about. We had a blast!

2nd Grade

I Wish by Javier A.

I wish I had candy
I wish dinosaurs
were not extinct
I wish I could have
all the reptiles

I wish mi mama could
buy a dog.
I wish my dad could
buy a pony.

I wish jack-o-lanterns
could exist in this
planet, forever.
I wish that I was
as tiny as an ant.

2nd Grade
