Sweet Dreams

For Week 2 of the poetry residency at Hale Elementary, the poets submerged themselves inside the weird and spectacular world of dreams. We asked ourselves what details can we remember from our dreams and which one of our dreams do we aspire to make true. Afterward, students created their own micro poetry chapbooks where alongside written lines of their dreams were drawings that helped bring their words to life!

I dream about

having A’s in every class

and when I was little

I saw a movie that was scary

and had a nightmare about a doll.

I dream that I am on a table full

of candy.

I dream I have a millions toys.

I dream about a man in black

chasing me.

I dream about me

walking on a rainbow.
