Summer Here We Come!

Today was my last session with all my Foster Park Elementary Students. We had a short session together since the 8th graders were getting ready for graduation and 6th and 7th grade were enjoying some free time for the day. After passing back poems, we had a quick check-in and shared a little bit about what students took away from our time together. 6th grader Tajah summed it up beautifully when he said  “I learned that I am a creative person.” Thank you to all of my Foster Park students for working so hard on your poems and being willing to learn something new.

And a huge thank you to Ms Bullock, Ms. Turner and Ms. Clayton for all of their support in the classroom over our ten weeks together. Have a fantastic summer and well deserved break!
