Grandparents’ House

By Dario P.

I was in my grandpa’s house ‘click’

the soda goes. My grandma is

cooking ka-pluk goes the beans.

The TV goes buzz; the dogs go

bark, and the cats go meow.

The floor goes creak when I

walk. Pop! goes the popcorn.

The in and outdoors

By Armanie T.

Slams and TV playing

dogs and cats barking

and meowing woof woof

meow meow cars honking

beep beep like a

truck crashed people shouting

loud like a tornado

is here creeks and

cracks like a creepy

person is here.
