Un Abrazo Es Como Un Circulo: Similes at Darwin Elementary

Similes are exciting because they illuminate similarities between different things. This week the 2nd graders and I worked on our own similes, or, comparison poems. The 2nd graders came up with a lot of cool ideas. You can see that a lot of students where using the same things, but then comparing them in exciting and different ways. Enjoy!
