Mrs. Hempe 7th Grade Group 1
I want to be a medical scientist,
doing research to save lives.
I want to be a father of
2 children and a married man
One day, far away, I want to
be a grandpa.
I want to be funny, athletic, and
kind throughout my whole life.
I want to be the future.
I want to be a tree
growing and growing beautiful branches
along the way of life.
When I grow up, I would like
to work at home, or to be
a Little Caesars’ worker.
I would like to work at
home to take care of my
children
I would like to work
at Little Caesars because it’s fun
When I grow up I would
like to work at home, or
to be a Little Caesars’ worker.
I am a question mark
I am an exclamation point
I am dashes and parentheses
I know what I know.
That I am a human, and when I die, I will in fact
Come back
as a cloud
I look at them through the window of a
Six-hour roadtrip
that may or may not change my life
question mark?
Clouds are soft, lighter than air, with not a
care in the world
and if they have a problem.
Bam!
Now it’s your problem too
But those are the two things I know, and the best
?
out of many possibilities that life may bestow,
punctuation for personality
and a non-intentional tone that makes my mom mad
I look at the side walk when I walk
(Which in Australia, they call a footpath)
But a brick side / foot path / walk?
Allows me to move forward
Forward
Forward to the question mark that is my
life, future, past, and present.
We can go pro, right?
We can be the best dad ever, right?
We’re still as funny as before,
right? Fast like a cheetah, smart
like an elephant,
right?
That’s how it’s gonna be, right?
None of this is guaranteed, but it’s
still under your control,
You don’t have to be perfect
but you can still try.
Society…
To be judged as a person, to be put
in ranking. People judge and scale person on looks,
whether you act as a female should or not.
When I grow up I want to be that break,
to show the world that women or any person in
general is not a tool to be judged.
“Your more man than you are woman,” or “Why are you
so masculine” I hear people say, people judge us on
looks, not actions.
I want to be a flood that drowns away the hate,
the criticizing, the pointing and laughing, to be one
people trust, I want to be a wall, to protect anyone
no matter gender, she, him, they, or them my door is
open.
When I grow up, I want to be proud
of who I am, I want to stick out like a green
thumb, I want people to know who I am, I want
people to be inspired by me.
Mrs. Hempe 7th Grade Group 2
When I grow up,
I want to be a good friend to
A, C, A, A, and V.
To hope that P forgives me
and to never forget O.
To cherish the memories made
in a short amount of time.
For me to be free, like
a dandelion blowing through the wind.
To be confident
in my work.
to be loved by people.
and other things.
to be heard by people
And other things
to be felt by other
people. and other
things.
to be remembered.
by people.
The End.

Maybe a sibling

Kind
A big heart.
to love those around me
When I grow up I want to be
an engineer, a mom, kind
a blossoming tulip on the brink of spring
I want
I want
I want to be.
I want to give kindness
to everyone I meet, to
Say sorry and hope they
can forgive me, to
Be the best partner in
their heart, to
Be a four leaf clover
to my friends, to
Always forgive and never
Forget the problems that
were already solved, to
Never be a bad
person, to
Remember the good and
best times, to
Live a great life, to
Live a filled life, to
Live the best life I can
To, I want, to, I want
