Proudly Practicing Poetry with Alliterations

For our last day of our first full week of poetry summer camp at Mark Twain Elementary, we closed out with alliterations by reading Shel Silverstein’s “Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout Would Not Take the Garbage Out” poem. Ms. Carther’s 3rd – 5th grade students then practiced writing their own poems with alliteration. Check out Ava and Manuel’s amazing work!
