Kidding Around

We all remember some aspect of our childhoods, whether happy or sad. Inspired by reading “Dust-Dipped” by Inua Ellams, the 8th graders of Clinton reflected on how they acted as children, some with regret and others with pride. After exploring what similes were, students then created their own to describe themselves when they were younger. From funny to heartfelt to silly to honest, students reflected on the activities, people, and places they loved as kids.
