Foldable Words
Day 3 of Poetry Camp at Twain Elementary! It was a rainy day, so we kept inside and explored more paper based making and exploration. We made origami cranes and cootie catchers and learned about contrapuntal poems- poems that can be read in multiple ways! Our example poem today were from Leila Chatti, “Cootie Catcher.”
Students continue to amaze me with their creativity and excitement of writing. I can’t wait to see what they make the remainder of camp.
Check out today’s poetry publication!
