After creating visual poem collages using words, phrases, and images I had chosen, I wanted students to have the opportunity to create their own poem collages to represent the self-portrait poems we wrote during our first session together. Using Canva, students used various fonts and images to visually represent themselves in a poem collage. Here are a few of them below!
