Poems about Sounds

This week we read poems about sounds. We talked about all of the different kinds of sounds that surround us, and the ones we we hear everyday. We talked about sounds we love to hear, and even about the ones we don’t like so much.

I Don’t Like Noises

Layla H

2nd grade

I don’t like noises

I don’t like the sound of my sister

And the sound of my mom

And the sound of my dad and my dog

And the sound of my cousin and

My sisters friends

Talking too loud

And the teachers yelling

And the kids shouting while

I am working

And the kids playing and

The people who won’t stop talking

If you know how I’m feeling you can talk to me
