O world! O life! O time!

This week we got started on poems using personification as a device in our poems. We read “A Lament” by Percy Bysshe Shelley and talked about how we could give human qualities to things that are larger than life. What would it be like to have a conversation with a tree, a lion, or the ocean? If time could tell you it’s secrets, what would it say? Sometimes, a topic can take a little more time and thought and intention to write. So tune back in next week to see what these awesome 7th graders come up with!
