My BFF

November is all about spreading love and gratitude and celebrating the good in our lives, so at Hale Elementary we kicked off the month by giving love to our BFFs. We wrote compliment poems about and for one another! Challenge: how many smilies and metaphors can you find in these pieces?

4th grade

Oliva Alexcia

You have a nice soul

You have a nice and creative soul

You are the moon

and I am the stars

You are such a good friend

You have brown eyes like chocolate cake

You smell like flowers

You have a lot of potential

You are like a ball of laughter

You are so beautiful like a rose

You are loyal and patient

You look like a beautiful flower

You are my inspiration

You are my sunshine

and light to my eyes

You are pretty

You are my light

of the day

You make me smile

You are like butterflies

Milania Ava Nicole

You are nice to me during social studies

You were nice to me when I told you about my crush

You are funny

You are kind

You wear nice earrings

You are pretty

You are chatty but in a good way

You sing well

and have nice glasses

Ava F. Anabella

Ava has nice hair

Ava has nice eyes like dark coffee

I like Ava’s personality

I like Ava’s tie-dye shirt

Ava is funny

I like how she is so nice

and smells like flowers

and sometimes she can have long stories

Anabella Ava F.

She is kind

She is nice

She is generous

She looks cool

She dresses nice

I like how she likes anime

She looks like a pretty flower

She is my inspiration

She makes me smile

She looks like an ocean

She is funny

She is patient

Alexcia Olivia

Your hair is as silky

as a fluffy dog

You are as pretty as a model

You always brighten my day

You style is so good

I wish it were mine

You’re as funny as a comedian

You’re as sweet as a cake

Your family is so kind

I think they raised you right

because you’re the best person ever

You eyes are as brown as chocolate cake

Your personality is the light of my life

You make me smile every time

I love my life because of you

You are as patient as a pre-school teacher
