Looking Forward to Winter, What We Give

As we welcome our first snow of the season, students at Howe are excited about the upcoming winter and all the festivities that come with it. The 4th graders wrote a group poem about winter, and this week’s individual poem is from Brazil, who reflects on her generosity to the people in her life.

“Winter Poem” by Brazil, 4th grade
I see snow and it is cold
build a snowman
you can open presents
I feel happy it’s cold
I can get an iPad
I can get a camera
I can get new clothes
I can get new shoes
“I Give” group poem by Milani, Brazil and Caniyla, 4th grade
I give respectful
I give dogs to kids
I give my friend help
I give help to others
I give you school
I give fun
