I Dream Poems – Yo Sueno @ Moos Fall 2019

During the fourth week of the Chicago Poetry Center residency at Moos Elementary 3rd graders were encouraged to remember and imagine scenes and out of the ordinary ideas to create I dream poems.

I dream

Jacob

 

I dream to be a dinosaur

I dream I never die

I dream that I can fly 

I dream that I had a munchkin 

 

Yo Sueño

Eufemio 

 

Yo sueño que estaba en area 59

Yo sueño que tengo muchos bean bags

I dreamt that I have a pool full of tater tots

I dream I can have wings

Yo sueño que yo tengo un computer.

I dreamt that I had all the Fly Guy books

I dreamt that I could have a lot of money

I dreamt that there were bunnies

a lot of bunnies

I could talk to them

I dreamt I am flying

I dreamt I am able to talk to animals

I dreamt that I am invisible 

I dreamt that I was in space

I dreamt that I was on the moon with aliens and I can talk to them

I dreamt I was in taco land and I ate all the tacos

I dreamt that I could drink all the Starbucks drinks that I like

I dreamt that I went ziplining everyday

I dreamt that I had all the princess pulverizer books.

I dreamt that I rode a rainbow on a unicorn

I dreamt that I moved stuff with my mind.

I dreamt that money fell out of the sky

I dreamt that I had a job
