Do you have a dreamlife? When you fall asleep at night, do you dream? Do you have dreams that are funny, or ridiculous, comforting, or scary? Maybe you are someone who likes to daydream – gazing off into space imagining interesting things to do and places to go. Dreams are what we discussed and wrote about last Friday at Swift Elementary School. We thought about writing a list of dreamy ideas, or writing a poem that tells the story of a dream. Unicorns, candy, gumballs, “pokemon,” “roblox,” and money showed up in many of the students’ poems. Although it was hard to choose from so many great “Dream Poems,” it really made me smile to see so many students getting down to the business of writing!
