We had our final poetry party today. It was so hard to say goodbye but we had so much fun! We passed out our final poetry books that we’ve been working so hard on and held a reading. Almost everybody shared their poems! Then we moved outside to the playground to make it beautiful with our words. Each student chose a favorite line that they’ve written this year and wrote it on the playground in chalk. We wrapped up by sharing our summer poetry goals and a big group hug. **You might also notice that it’s Silly Hair Day 🙂
