My phone was red. It was an iPad 13.
I had all my stuff on there,
but when I was coming home,
a dog ran up on me.
I ran away from it.
It did not chase me,
but I dropped my phone.
I went back to get it.
It was broken,
but I got it fixed now.
I was in my room watching TV.
Suddenly, I heard a squeaking noise.
I didn’t know what it was, so I turned
off the TV and went to look.
My dog was playing with her
purple toy.
I said, “Ellie, you made me scared.”
I was about to yell at her but I just
couldn’t. Her tail was wagging,
and she was just too cute to get
yelled at.
I headed back to my room,
then I saw a pot of lavender.
They were so pretty.
A while ago my gray and white cat
named Ella passed away.
I was either 6 or 7 and I was
super sad and I still miss her.
She was furry and super nice.
She helped me when I cried.
I still miss her.

One blue memory I had was when I
was eight years old. It was my first time
eating a blue airhead. I felt like I was
in an island full of blue airheads.
It was my favorite candy ever since,
I tasted it. It tasted like blue cotton
melted but even better!

When I went to the pumpkin patch.
I got the perfect pumpkin.
It was really smooth.
It was so smooth, it rolled
down a hill.
I caught the pumpkin.
When I got home,
I carved it.
At the end of the day,
I had a beautiful
Jack-o-lantern
I remember seeing a black cat
and thinking, I can touch that cat.
When I eat dark chocolate
it reminds me of the black cat.
Even when I smell chocolate
I think of the black cat.
I hear the black cat walking
past the cat litter box.
The box scoops up the poop
and puts it in a bag.
The ocean was quiet, people were shouting.
We unpacked, the waves came up and down.
It was like they wanted to get out, but went
back in.
I went back in the waves, it felt like
a big hug.
After I ate fruit, then I dived right
in and went down and deep,
and came up.
I felt calm.

I remember the second week of poetry.
We were writing memories, but it has
to be about colors.
I didn’t know what to write!
But then, I looked at Miss Joy.
She had a blue shirt!
She inspired me to write this poem.
So, if you are reading this, think about
someone you love and think about
a color you remember.

Two years ago, I went to Five & Below
and saw the green Teletubby plushie.
I immediately grabbed it.
Then, I got out of the store as soon
as I paid. I hugged it. I squished it.
I loved it.
back in.
I kept it in my closet and made my closet
a green Teletubby closet.
I’m going to be a green Teletubby for
Halloween. Dipsy.

I remember seeing my baby pink blanket.
I was a baby when I had it. I would be wrapped
up in it and I would be cozy, sleeping. Now my
still had it and I asked to see it. She said, “Of course.”
I saw it, it had an elephant on it, and I said, “So cute.”
I still have it until this day and I remember my
favorite color is baby pink, like my blanket.
I remember my pink sheep plushie sheep.
I was little, when my grandpa went to
the store and when he came back, he was
like, “I got something for you.” he showed
me, and I was like, “Its cute!” I kept it in
my room, but now I don’t see my grandpa
or grama because they’re at another place.
