Big Ideas

At the start of the week, we were thinking small; later in the week, we were thinking big! The 4th graders read Before the Rains by Kim Stafford and then wrote poems envisioning the world they want to live in.

My World
By Deziah

My world would be
about helping people
I help people by helping them
cross the street and
help them get stuff from the store
help them get on the bus
and I gave to a homeless person
then she got a job. <3

Nature
By Taraji

Nature is your home we live in
Nature is grass, water, wild life
it can even be the ocean, mountain.

My nature feels safe,
everyday life and stuff that makes sense

Nature is what I design, dream in life
Nature has rain, clouds, sun, moon, and mist.

Nature is full of surprises, fun, sharing, and a place with
peace and more joy.
