All Writing is Rewriting

This week at Simpson, we had a shortened period, so we dedicated our session to working on uncompleted pieces. We talked about revision as part of the writing process and how getting our ideas out, is just the first step. We spent time polishing pieces by correcting grammatical and spelling errors, looking for repetitive concepts or words, or choosing a different turn of phrase to make our ideas clearer.

Stay tuned for our next blog post where you’ll be able to read some of the amazing pieces students are working on!
