Students created Diamond Poems using parts of speech and their wonderful imaginations.

Lesson Note: A diamante poem is a poem in the shape of a diamond. It can be used to compare and contrast two different subjects or name synonyms at the beginning of the poem and then antonyms for the second half for a subject.

Ms. Romano’s 7th Grade and Mrs. Turner’s 6th Grade Diamante Poems. Names and grades in the order in which the poems appear: Jaleah, (Illini Table-Group Poem): Nevaeh, Novah, James, Gregory, Ralph, Tori, Layla, Chyna, Chanel.
