My home is like a lake
Many places at once
A place where things were taught
Where things were calm
The light in my neverending darkness
The life jacket I needed to keep me afloat
We were like two boats afloat, related by maker but separate by make
Our home was like rain
Sometimes harsh and brutal
But sometimes nice and presice
The after affect was sometimes bright and pretty
But it was often wet and gloomy
Things were always so sad and down, but somehow, you never had me drown
