What Makes You Unique? 5th Grade Autobiographical Poems

I am myself to others, I am unique like others,
I give laughter and funness
I have a family, I am a brother, friend, cousin, and son to others as I go,
I grew up in a house, with my family, and now I’m here, typing this
now that I’m big

Ode about Myself, This is my Ode,
I’m happy that I’m a person.
Years ago I left my old house, and now I have a new one

People think I’m funny, but no I’m like a clown!
I think about something, then laugh all day long.
I’m short
others say, you look like a kid, but when I tell them my age they all go, “What? But you look small?”

I like many things that others maybe like!
I fear the dark! I always think there’s somebody inside,
I wish one day it was hot, sunny, and my family would go to the beach, and eat ice cream!
This is my Ode, My life, I celebrate it forever
I will never forget it, never forget it.

Ode to my Puerto Rican home
I am Kind, Strong, and Loved
I am a sister, a daughter, a cousin
I am a lover of arts and crafts
I feel confident

I am unique, beautiful, and brave
I am an aunt, a little sister, and daughter
I love to do art, baking, singing, and dancing
Today I feel excited, happy, and cheerful
I would like to visit France, Puerto Rico, and Florida.
I love that I am creative, smart, and kind
I am afraid of the dark, scary movies, and clowns

I am a very good best friend and very good big sister.
I am very thankful for being talented at most of the stuff.
In return I give advice, hugs and respect for people who need it.

But sometimes I wish all the good could last forever and the bad could disappear.
We all should know that not everything can last forever.
This is the reason why I need to explore the world under my feet.
Let’s work together and make the world a better place.
Later it will be helpful to still have the same world as we had before.

What I like about myself is that I’m kind and generous to people. I’m helpful to my whole family which makes it so warm inside.

But there’s something that I don’t like. It’s the virus.
They say there’s going to be a shot, so I’m hoping that it does work.

So I’m not worrying about that because I believe in God and hoping this all ends.

I am 11 years old
I like games and food and fruits
I have a lot of friends that I play with online
I have to take care of my baby sister and brother
I have to pass in school to be successful in life
I will be a policeman when I grow up
I will be a happy man for the rest of my life
I will not make bad decisions and I won’t fail school
