I am a Sun
Not fire
I am sky
Not rain
I am a rainbow

I am diamonds, not broken
I am history
Not bitter
I am a dream
Not a glass
I am a dragon
Not a puppet to be played
I am the sky
Not the dark
I am the wind that runs through your hair.

I am the son that brings Joy
I am not the monster in your closet
I am the angel that is with you till the end
I am not the lion that hunts its prey
But I am the lion that protects her family
I am the happiness you feel inside
I am not the fear you run away from
I am to comfort you seek on those days of Sorrow
I am not a hurricane meant to tear your life apart
I am the forest you come to when there is trouble
I am not the Twisted lies
But the heartful truth
I’m not the glass that shatters easily
I am the kind mother
I am not a knife to cut you down
I am a Band-Aid to heal your wounds
I am not those terrible thoughts that feel your head
But that dream you had last night
I am not something you throw out
I am not the problems that destroy you

I am a bush
I am not spiny
I’m a tree
I am not french fries
I am a color
I’m not a storm
I am a ferret

I am successful, I am not famous
