What animal am I?

Today, we read Ada Limon’s poem “How to Triumph Like a Girl.” It was very interesting to talk about the ways that the world might expect us to be one thing based on our identity, but we are actually a lot more complicated. Some kids shared how people didn’t expect girls to be good at sports or that their families have been judged for being from other countries. Please enjoy the wonderful poems the students wrote!
