West Park Hauntings part 2

For this next part of the West Park Hauntings the young poets began to write their stories. This is the most writing-intensive lesson. Here we really dive into the structure of a story while still emphasizing literary devices like similes and metaphors. The poets work together in groups of two or three or as individuals. Whereas most of their poems are roughly half a page long, these poems will take up at least two pages. We spent our time together sharing, peer reviewing, and editing their stories. Stay tuned for the haunting of Westpark part 3.
