We Can Be Heroes

Happy Monday, dear readers! Last week, Kozminski’s 4-5th graders spent some time dreaming up our favorite heroes or role models. Some students admired well-known superheroes like Spiderman and the Incredible Hulk, while others named more personal heroes like their mothers or siblings. After brainstorming some role models, we individually compiled a huge list of qualities that we share with our favorites. During our writing time, students wrote acrostic poems with their names, including all the qualities that make them brave or heroic. Check out some of our hero acrostics below:
