Two-a-Pairs

Hale students are powerful on their own, but also make great team players. Together, we discussed what makes something a good pair, then named some of our favorites. Things like peanut butter and jelly, ice cream and cake, and Batman and Robin were some group favorites. After deciding on pairs, students worked together to create poems on their topics. Check out some of these clever poems below:

Spongebob & Patrick Aron and Natalie

I am yellow

I am pink

I am a sponge

I am a starfish

I have holes

I have no holes

We both live underwater

We both are friends with Squidward

I’m hardworking

I’m lazy

I don’t have a sister

I have a sister

We both don’t have a driver’s license

Luis and Axel Luis and Axel

I like sports and play them too

I like to play video games

I have one brother

I have three brothers and a sister

We both like sports and video games and silent ball

I like different types of brands

My favorite shoe type is Michael Jordans

I like ducks as my favorite animals

My favorite animal is a dog

We are both the same because we are in the same grade and like math

I like the cereal Apple Jacks

My favorite cereals are Rice Krispies and Cinnamon Toast Crunch

I like the flavor cookies and cream

My favorite ice cream flavor is caramel with chocolate chips

We both like the brand Jordan

Art and Life John and Osmar

Art is like life

Things aren’t always what they seem

On the outside it looks like messy lines

Random shapes, but in between the lines

is a story.

Life is short and difficult

if you work hard, all that

hard work will pay off.
