Twain 3rd Grade Cookbook 🍽️

Our 9th poetry sessions landed on a day full of activity for Twain Elementary School:  concert assemblies were scheduled, as well as visits with a dentist! There was a great feeling of excitement, pride, and jittery nerves! 3rd Graders in Mrs. Murphy’s  and Ms. O’Reilly’s classrooms looked at the poem “Recipe for How to Be Good at Math” by Josiah T.  and took inspiration from some kitchen utensils I brought from home before brainstorming and writing Recipe Poems. In Ms. O’Reilly’s class, we only had time to work as a group before going to the auditorium to enjoy students performing Holiday Concerts of dance and instrumental music!
