The Scream

On the days our brains seem to be moving a little slower than usual a great source of inspiration, especially if you’re not up for reading anything, is looking at visual art and writing in response to it! For this poetry session we did exactly just that. Students made their own sculptures with play-doh and then wrote about the work in a poem!

Scream Abe the Ape

I am an inspiration to a horror show

my first memories was me seeing Edvard

Munch painting me

I am as creepy as a clown

I have a deep blue dress

My appearance doesn’t impress

but when you sleep and have nightmares

I will take care of the rest
