Terribly Terrific Tuesday: Alliteration

2nd graders at Swift continued distance learning last week by playing with alliteration – which is when the same letter sound is at the beginning of words that are close together. After the reading “Monday Mornings” by Pauline Alva, students wrote their own poems.

On Thursday Thoughts, I feel like a tremendous tray of cookies.
And some good terrific tempting treats, for kind teachers.
