Ms. Lehner 4th Grade - Group 2
I remember running through the
field in football season
the sound of rustling grass
the sight of
the ferris wheel
and the orange sun
the sound of the wind blowing
the feel of leather
the sound of screaming joy
I remember the pitch black
sky
I remember the heat of
Las Vegas
I remember feeling scared, scareder
than I was in the dark
I remember smelling sanitizer
air and people
I remember the needle piercing
my skin
I remember touching my dad’s
clothes
I remember closing my eyes
and holding my mom’s hand
I remember when I turned 10
and I went camping
I heard the sound of
birds chirping (chirp chirp!)
I saw the blooming trees
wet with rain
I touched the soft wet oak
tree
I smelled the marshmallow I
was cooking over the fire.
I remember being at a playground
the heat was burning my skin
I heard the ice cream truck
driving to the playground
I was eating the best ice cream
for the summertime heat while smelling
the fresh cut grass
I remember going to the warm
beach
the seagulls made their annoying
noise
and all I felt was sand
I remember being on an airplane
I was eating my salty pretzels
all I heard was the plane
and I saw the view of the beautiful
city
I remember my 9th birthday party
I ate a crunchy hamburger with lettuce
tomato and bacon and cheese. I saw crispy
golden fries. I could smell ice cream
in the kitchen.
This morning I ate a croissant
I heard sloshy chocolate milk pouring in
a cup. I smelled my mom’s hair gel.
I remember watching the eclipse
I saw the moon cover the sun with
its shadow. I felt the leaves blowing
they were rough and crunchy. I heard
kids screaming in the field.
