Seeing Is Believing

Last week, Waters 6th graders continued their journeys with visual poetry. We spent some time looking over some cool examples of concrete, or shape poetry. After brainstorming some sentimental items that we wanted to spend time writing about, students flexed their artistic skills by sketching their items. After sketching, the poets got to work crafting their concrete masterpieces. Check out a few of them below:
