The poets from Latino Youth High School will embark on a new project for their final 4 weeks. They were selected by a multi-disciplinary project that aims to unite North Lawndale and South Lawndale. The project will feature several visual art and 3D pieces that showcase the beauty of both communities. The poets will contribute recorded poems that speak of the resilience of the neighborhoods. We are excited to use our lyrics with other forms of art to exhibit the positive parts of North and South Lawndale. Be on the lookout for the progress of their work!
