What is a word you love to use, or a word that represents something about you? This was the question at the heart of this week’s discussion after we read the piece “Hecky Naw” by Jose Olivarez. Students had some time to work on poems about a favorite or made-up word and there were definitely some interesting ones. Enjoy this week’s poets!
