My Mom Is…

What better use for a poetry than a poem expressing how much you love your mom! In class, we worked on connecting the abstract emotions we feel and transforming them into concrete moments in our lives.

4th grade

Mom Abe the Ape

Kind —>

She helped me tie my shoe after I tripped.

Smart —>

In the living room she mentally solved

a hard division problem.

Caring —>

In the kitchen, she understood my frustration

about my grades.

Curious —>

My mom asks me

about my day while going home

in the car.

Mom Isabella P.

Kind + Smart —>

She build

a blue Elvis

costume

for my

brother.

Over protective —>

We were heading

to the park but

she told me to put

on double shirts, pants,

a vest, and then a

poofy jacket.
