One leaf from the ancient tree
The fumes of a deadly flower
A rock from the start of earth
The lightning from a storm
Fresh water from the bottom of the ocean
The breath of a dragon
That’s all you need to make
The clouds storm
The ocean rage with anger
We made it from a room full of light to a dark room without exit
Pinched glitter for sparkle
A drop of the star that shines above our heads
Are we good enough?
A pinch of insecurity so we don’t believe we are the king of the world
But not too much because we might drown in it
The first step in the procedure is to grind up a sundial real fine
Toss some dirt into the pot, nothing special
Stare into the night sky till a star fragment falls down
Don’t forget to grab it with tongs!
For this next step you’ll need to travel to parts of the solar system
A rock from each planet will allow us to move to the next step
I make the world revolve.
So the world evolves.
Running all around.
With my feet on the ground.
Two strong legs.
Two sturdy legs.
With an owl’s sight.
I have the might.
Strawberry crush
gives me a rush.
I make the world revolve.
So it evolves.

My first ingredient was the last 10 pages from a Go Math book.
They slowly dissolved into the water.
Then, I stirred in Mr. Burger’s voice, he helps understand Go Math.
The next ingredient I added was Einstein’s brain.
It made the water fizz a little.
We made it from a branch of a growing tree. A splash of sounds from trains around the world. Grasshopper legs my cat with bright orange eyes had caught. The scent of gas and oil fill the air. Once it is done there was a miscalculation, the potion ran away.
To be invisible you need a few ingredients.
To be invisible you need drops of rain.
To be invisible you need the scent of lavender.
To be invisible you need petals from flowers near the river.
After putting your ingredients, slowly mix, and hope it works.
You see the potion disappear very quickly.
You panic, trying to save the drink.
Smelling the rain, and feeling relief.
You remember you don’t need a potion to be invisible.
