Want is something big but possible.
I want someone to love me unconditionally.
I want someone to remember to assure me, to love me, to hug and kiss me,
to feel me, to see me.
I want someone to remember the little things, how I like my eggs in the morning,
how I like my toast to be crispy but soft.
Someone that is willing to dance and sing and do everything as careless and free like me.
I want someone to buy me flowers, go on dates, not care about prices,
to worship me and the ground that I walk on.
I want someone to have kids with, preferably six,
someone to grow old and have grey hairs with.
Zain a name I haven’t forgotten
Summer, 2020 was ours.
As soon as it started to get chilly
you froze, you flew away from me like
the leaves that were coming down. Now
all I can do is write about you.
