It was so hard to say goodbye at our last day at Dever! We did a number of wonderful activities to finish the year strong with one another! Each student received a notebook and we planned and strategized our creative projects for the summer. We also compiled all of our revisions into a poetry yearbook, which we signed! Finally, we went outside and all chalked a line from a poem that we had written or that we had read this year. It has been a complicated year, but the students have done amazing things and shared some incredible thinking. I’ve been so grateful to spend this time with them. We had a beautiful day celebrating all that we have done.
