“hearts and stars are like sharp sculptures”: Image-Based Similes @ Moos Elementary

Today at Moos, we learned about collaboration as a way to explore comparisons. First, the students played a game of exquisite corpse, in which they partnered with someone to draw pictures back and forth to one another without their partner knowing what the previous image is. When they were finished, they had three panels of images to describe in their poems through simile. We love learning through games!
