Be Happy
Genesis
My heart feels awake when
I draw red, pink and yellow.
It’s fun to do things that make you happy.
I like to draw fruit
red fruit, orange and yellow fruit
they are all good, sweet and sour
or with a lot of seeds,
fruits are good, it doesn’t matter the color.
They are just good
making you and your heart happy.
I love cherries!

My heart is wide awake from playing with my brother
and playing soccer.
When I sleep my heart still beats, my heart is wide awake.
When I run, it beats fast
if I take a break it slows down.
It calms down when I breathe slowly.
My eyes are awake to everything I hear and see.
My heart is not asleep when I try to sleep
or when I play baseball with my auntie.
I sometimes think the ball will hit me and it makes my heart race
but the ball doesn’t hit me.
And when I read in front of everyone my heart gets nervous, and anxious.

Midnight is a beautiful time to look for stars.

What Makes My Heart Awake

What makes my heart awake is my water bottle filled with water.
I love water more than iced tea.
My favorite brand is Smart Water, you can buy it everywhere.
Playing football makes me feel awake,
playing with Zaire and Prince and our friends.
Listening to music makes my heart feel awake
using my headphones, playing Fetty Wap…and hearing: “Hey, what’s up, hello!”

Something that wakes up my heart is macaroni.
I love its cheese, and its cream texture is the best.
It’s delicious macaroni.
I feel awake when I feel relaxed too.
Playing with Legos is relaxing
building its sets are good.
I like the Dino sets, they can be big!
And toys like suction cups are fun, they make me feel awake
playing and having fun.
You can stick them to the wall and connect them to a door.
