On Christmas my mother overfills the
baskets with grapefruit.
Pineapple, mangoes, watermelon, other citrus
to but mostly grapefruits.
She opens the door to let the Christmas
air in.
Stands are open selling grapefruit.
I love to watch mom cut the grapefruit.
She peels the grapefruit so nice.
The vendor sells so many.
We are in shock of the low price of the
grapefruit.
Everyone at the table is happy to have
so much fruit.
Such an abundance of grapefruit
