Ms. Sherif 3rd Grade
One day, my friend Adrien
challenged me to a Taki
Challenge. A Taki Challenge
is when you have to eat
1 Taki and if you
think it’s not hot enough,
then you eat 2 Takis–
but at the same time!
And so on and so on.
They taste like a
spicy pepper with
a touch of lime.
We went to the
grocery store with
his mom, Denise.
We grabbed the
gigantic bag!
Tamales can be pink green and red,
some are spicy, some are sweet. They
taste so good and really neat. So good
and what a nice treat. My favorite
one is green: spicy and good. We all know
what we like to eat and it’s neat.

I love pizza.
I see my family.
It feels crunchy,
soft.
I love hamburgers.
I see hamburgers in the
window,
in the store.
I, small ham and cheese.
I touch it but it costs
bus money.
I get bus money, I buy it.
It is sweet and soft and
small seeds.
I go home.
I eat with the whole family.
I see the colors of the hamburgers:
yellow skin, brown, red skin.
I love arroz con leche.
I see my gramma making
it. I feel the hot, soft, stormy
cinnamon.
