Field Trip to Ronan Park

We had an exciting week at Haugan Elementary School! Instead of our normal classroom day, we went on a field trip to Ronan Park! We partnered with the North River Commission to write ekphrastic poems (or poems about a piece of art) about the sculpture garden there! We then did readings of our poems, did readings of our poems, and then decorated the park with lines from our own poems or a favorite poem we read during the semester. It was a beautiful day!
