Exploring Movement in Poetry

After watching some YouTube clips of contemporary poets using their lyrics with dance moves, the poets from Avondale/Logandale experimented with choreographing their own movements to their poems. First, the poets studied the classic form of poetry called Haikus. After writing their own haikus, the poets then teamed up in pairs. They were then given some class time to design the movements that would interpret their poems. Stay tuned for their written work!
