Do you hear what I hear?

For today’s session, we talked about sound and all the different things we hear daily. We started off by trying to be as quiet as we could for a whole minute and then shared all the things that we heard. Giggles, shoes and desks squeaking, machines outside were just some of the things that made up the symphony of sound around us. Enjoy the poems!

I Hear Takai

I hear the birds and the cat
I hear the kids playing outside
the wind blowing I hear screaming noise at school
I hear my mom playing music in the house

I Hear Judah

I hear my sister screaming about the phone
My brother playing plants- V-zombies music
My mom screaming at Buster
the air moving
kids playing outside
the news on TV
kids talking and running
teachers screaming
kids getting in trouble
